WELLNESS POLICY
To ensure the health of children and staff, we ask that sick children not attend Living Way Kids programs or classes.
A Well Child Has...
No fever for the last 24 hours
No runny nose (unless fluid is clear and baby is teething)
No diarrhea (more than 5 stools in 24 hours)
No colds or coughs No rash or skin condition unless diagnosed as non-contagious by a physician
No symptoms of conjunctivitis (pink eye), colored discharge from the eye or puffy eyelids
No head lice
No other sign of illness
SAFETY & SECCURITY POLICIES-Upon check-in, each child is assigned a different number & parents are given a security tag. If a parent is needed, that number will be posted on the screen in the sanctuary.
-Children are released, only to a parent or guardian possessing the security tag with child's number.
-If your tag is misplaced, you will be asked for photo id.-All caregivers over the age of 18 have consented to and completed a criminal background check, national sex registry check and reference check.
-Diapers are changed on sanitized pads by caregivers wearing gloves.-Toys are age appropriate and safe, sanitized each week-Aprons and/or id badges containing the LWC logo identify approved caregivers.-Children’s ministry areas are restricted to authorized staff only. Children/youth of other ages are not allowed in classrooms. Adults other than staff or parents are not allowed in classes.
THANK YOU FOR REMEMBERING-Classrooms open 15 minutes before each service.
-Thank you for picking up children no later than 10 minutes following each worship time. -Personally drop off and pick up your children at his or her class. -Take your child to the restroom before service begins. -Do not bring toys, purse or other items that could get lost, damaged or cause distractions or disagreements. -Food (other than for infants) or candy brought from home is discouraged.
